    We are looking for a passionate, dynamic, and experienced Product Manager as a full-time addition to our team. This newly created position will be pivotal to ensure mediasmart executes a well-thought product strategy that keeps the company at the forefront of innovation in the ad tech ecosystem. The Product Manager will report directly to the CEO, working very closely with the leadership team and other team members to ensure absolute alignment with the overall business strategy.

    mediasmart is part of the Affle group - a global technology company that is listed on the stock exchange in India. Affle group has been in the adtech/martech business for over 15 years and runs multiple ad platform businesses like Appnext, Vizury, RevX, Jampp and MAAS in addition to mediasmart. Our mission at mediasmart is to allow advertisers to effectively reach mobile audiences in real-time, while maximizing engagement with campaigns and their incremental value to advertisers. mediasmart was one of the first players to enter the programmatic mobile ecosystem and to date our proprietary technology stack comprises of a DSP, DMP & Ad-Server, as well as direct connections to more than 30 ad exchanges where we buy display, video and native ads on mobile apps, web, connected TVs and desktop.

    Summary of the Role 

    The Product Manager will be responsible for mediasmart’s product roadmap, planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision for mediasmart’s platform, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and client services to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.


    The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced Product Manager, able to manage day-to-day tasks without losing sight of the big picture. A people’s person who can naturally collaborate across teams, the Product Manager is expected to quickly become an expert on our competition and to act as a leader within the company.

     Below are some of the core responsibilities and requirements we envision for the role.



    • Define the product strategy and product roadmap for mediasmart’s platform, working very closely with the leadership team
    • Understand the competition and their product offering, devising ways of sharing this knowledge across the organization
    • Design and run agile test programs to help decide both what features to prioritize and how to price them
    • Develop processes to gather structured feedback from existing and potential customers as well as from internal teams
    • Gather product/feature requirements and define functional specifications, always taking the role of an advocate for customers’ needs, and working closely with UX, Partnerships & Innovation and the Engineering teams
    • Develop the core positioning/messaging for each product/feature, as well as product documentation required for our knowledge base, mediasmart Academy, etc… Provide all necessary input for Product Marketing to develop sales and marketing materials
    • Provide training around new product launches for the Sales & Client services
    • Define metrics for product success and establish regular reporting on those



    • The candidate must be fluent in English, both oral and written, as this is the common language across the organization
    • 5+ years of experience as a product manager
    • Demonstrated experience launching successful products/features in an agile environment
    • Demonstrated experience writing product-related documentation across the product lifecycle
    • Highly professional with a strong commercial focus, project management experience and evidence of facilitating business growth through your role
    • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with the ability to lead and adapt in a changing business environment
    • Proven experience adtech/martech/programmatic experience



    • Analytical, curious, goal-oriented
    • Strong orientation to detail, with an ability to collect and organize data, understand the results, and communicate them effectively
    • Ability to tell a story using metrics and data to back it up
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
    • Ability to motivate others to work as a team to meet the business case and customer goal
    • Strong influencing and negotiating skills
    • Ability to take personal initiative and prioritize workload whilst being a team player within a collaborative environment
