mediasmart, Affle’s self-serve mobile programmatic platform, announced the expansion of its leadership team across Asia and Latin America with the appointment of senior business leaders to steer the platform growth across regions.
In Latin America Edvaldo Acir Lino Silva joins as the Sales Director, while for India and Southeast Asia, Nikhil Kumar has come on board as the Senior Director for Business Development. These new additions in the team are expected to fast track growth for mediasmart in fast growing programmatic markets globally.
With a comprehensive understanding of cultural and business environments in Latin America, Edvaldo joins mediasmart with over 20 years of experience and he was most recently the Sales Director (LatAm) at Integral Ad Science (IAS). Prior to IAS, Edvaldo was Sales & Business Development Director for Rocketfuel in Latin America. With extensive experience in the Latin American digital advertising industry, Edvaldo has led sales, operations, and account management teams, working with Fortune 500 companies to drive programmatic business growth in the region. A noted speaker at industry events, he is also the President of IAB Brazil’s Adtech & Data Committee.
A seasoned MarTech leader, Nikhil joins mediasmart with over 14 years of experience in the marketing and technology domains. Most recently, Nikhil was a part of the ByteDance India team as the Business Head for Global Business Solutions. Previously, in his role as the Director of Brand Strategy & Industry head, he was instrumental in growing InMobi’s direct brand business across verticals. Nikhil has been a seasoned marketer having played marketing leadership roles in top global brands like L’Oreal, Puma, Cafe Coffee Day and also in product tech startups like Housejoy. In 2019, Nikhil was awarded as one of India’s most Innovative MarTech Leaders. He provides his expertise to multiple start-ups in the marketing & strategy domain and likes sharing his knowledge as guest lecturer across many management institutes.

These joining announcements come shortly after mediasmart announced the launch of its Audience Targeting and Household Sync Technology on CTV together with some key partnerships like the one with IPG Mediabrands in Indonesia.
