We are seeking a results-oriented, entrepreneurial and highly driven Sales Manager Northern & Western Europe as a full time addition to our team. The EU Sales team is fundamental in driving revenue across European markets and is key in helping mediasmart solidify its position as a unified Programmatic Platform that integrates consumer journeys across screens. As Sales Manager Northern & Western Europe, he or she will actively contribute to the teams’ ongoing evolution towards programmatic buying solutions that offer scalable, efficient, and highly targeted means of reaching desired audiences and achieving better ROI for our clients. The Sales Manager for Northern & Western Europe plays a key role as the responsible party for generating revenue from either a specific set of customers and/or agencies across Northern & Western Europe. He or she will also provide and maintain senior relationships with our programmatic buying customers and other industry intermediaries, and coordinate selling efforts with other internal teams.

Summary & Duties
The EU Sales team has the mission to maximize revenue and service for our customers via our proprietary programmatic technology as well as to enable mediasmart to be the monetization partner of choice for advertisers and agencies across Mobile, CTV and DOOH.
Below are some of the core responsibilities we envision for the role, which will be located in The Netherlands:
● Manage agency partners across Northern & Western Europe (Nordics, The Netherlands). ● Onboard new business focused on direct advertisers and agencies. ● Own end-to-end process for onboarding new licensing customers of our proprietary programmatic technology. ● Generate revenue towards a defined quota established for a specific set of customers / products / Markets or a combination thereof. ● Develop and execute strategic account plans for new and existing clients. ● Cultivate strong relationships with key agencies, advertisers, and Trading Desks, while serving as the face of mediasmart across Northern & Western European markets. ● Attend and participate in conferences, seminars, and industry events to promote the mediasmart brand across Europe. ● Collaborate with the Client Services team to drive business for customers via our DSP technology. ● Drive new feature adoption, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver successful campaigns for our clients across multiple channels. ● Partner with internal teams to identify the right engagement opportunities (marketing, partnerships, product, analytics) and ensure revenue is maximized on the mediasmart platform. ● Participate in a high-performing sales team: ○ Develop and drive new business across Northern & Western European markets ○ Drive adoption of new channel opportunities ○ Provide direction and feedback to the CS team to ensure client’s expectations are met ○ Where appropriate, work with the marketing team to develop and assist in events for customers
● Market knowledge and established relationships with key agencies, advertisers, and Trading Desks across Northern & Western European markets. ● A deep understanding of the online advertising industry with a focus on programmatic selling, the tools and technology that enable it, as well as the various intermediaries that sit in between Advertisers and Publishers. ● Accountability/ownership through every stage of client business: prospecting, presenting, negotiating. ● Sales experience with a solid background in programmatic advertising sales, preferably with experience in CTV, DOOH sales. ● Experience with partner/channel management, business development and negotiations with executives that may be C-level, SVP or VPs within their organizations. ● Experience with direct advertiser sales, including negotiations and management of strategic partnerships at senior levels within media agencies. ● Online advertising experience is a must. ● Experience and understanding of programmatic media sales. ● Proven track record of working with, meeting & exceeding revenue expectations and quotas. ● Excellent communicator and presenter. ● Understand competitive strengths and weaknesses. ● Excellent relationship building skills and ability to develop strong working relationships across multiple functions in the organization. ● Strong ability to use data to drive insights and generate buying opportunities. ● Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, as well as deliver a consultative approach when addressing clients’ needs. ● Educated to degree level or equivalent. ● Minimum of 5 years’ experience in digital advertising. ● Excellent level of written and spoken English. Additional European languages are a plus.
